Clip of Susan Dey in Whose Child Is This?
Here's a clip of Susan Dey reading the children's storybook classic Goodnight Moon in the 1993 TV move Whose Child Is This? The War for Baby Jessica.
Clip of Susan Dey and Chad Everett
Yet another clip of Susan Dey from the 1983 two-part TV movie Malibu. This time she shares the screen with legendary actor Chad Everett (and yes, he's shirtless!).
Another clip of Susan Dey in Malibu
In this clip from the 1983 television event Malibu, Susan Dey has a chat with actor Steve Forrest who, somewhat ironically, portrays a washed actor. In this scene he wears a see-through mesh shirt (!) while Susan Dey shows off a nice one-piece bathing suit.
Clip of Susan Dey in Malibu
Here's a clip of Susan Dey in the two-part TV movie Malibu from 1983. In this scene, real estate agent Kim Novak shows a young couple Wisconsin (Susan Dey and William Atherton) a summer rental in Malibu. Will they decide to stay in Malibu for the summer?
Clip of Susan Dey on Petrocelli
Recently, we took a look a Susan Dey's 1976 guest appearance on the TV show Petrocelli. Well, here's a short clip of Susan Dey and the star of Petrocelli, Barry Newman, having a chat. Enjoy!
Clip of Susan Dey in Blue River
Here's a clip of Susan Dey from her 1995 TV movie Blue River. In this scene, the police come to Susan Dey's character's home looking to talk with her troublesome oldest son Lawrence (played by Jerry O'Connell) about an incident that occurred the night before. As the police question Lawrence, Susan Dey has an emotional chat about religion with her younger son Edward (played by Nick Stahl).
Another clip of Susan Dey on The Quest
Here's another clip of Susan Dey in the Old West, from the short-lived 1976 TV series The Quest. This scene actually takes place directly after the previous clip. Susan Dey, whose character had just been "rescued" from a Native American tribe, and her co-stars Kurt Russell and Tim Matheson attend a party. Since she had been living with the Indians and has a half-breed son, Susan Dey's character runs into some discrimination. Things really begin to heat up when Susan Dey and actress Bibi Besch have an emotional showdown in front of a roomful of onlookers.
Another clip of Susan Dey on S.W.A.T.
Here's another clip from Susan Dey's 1975 guest appearance on S.W.A.T. In this clip, Susan Dey has dinner with Robert Urich. First, they listen to some guy strumming a guitar and then she chooses to talk about how great dolphins are!
Clip of Susan Dey and Robert Urich on S.W.A.T.
Here's a great clip of Susan Dey from her 1975 guest appearance on the successful cop show S.W.A.T. In the two-part episode "Deadly Tide" Susan Dey shared many of her scenes with one of the stars of series, Robert Urich. In this scene, Janice (Susan Dey) goes to the police after her brother turns up dead after an ill-fated diving expedition. She gets very emotional and the cop at the desk won't give her the assistance she needs...so Officer Jim Street (Robert Urich), who she had coincidentally spoken with earlier, takes her aside and promises to help.
Clip of Susan Dey and John Ritter in The Comeback Kid
Here's a great clip from Susan Dey's 1980 "comeback" movie (she hadn't done any film/TV projects for two years prior to this), The Comeback Kid. This TV movie paired stars John Ritter and Susan Dey and they worked quite well together (in my opinion at least). Susan Dey and John Ritter would later re-team for the 1983 TV movie Sunset Limousine.
This clip from The Comeback Kid shows the initial meeting between the characters played by Susan Dey and John Ritter. We first see the pair do some jogging and later they have lunch together, all while John Ritter works his comedic magic and Susan Dey looks simply terrific.
Clip of Susan Dey on Hawaii Five-O
Here's a clip of Susan Dey appearing on Hawaii Five-O in 1975. First, I'd like to mention that this clip is not taken from the remastered DVD release of this show. Instead, it is taken from a TV broadcast of the show and maintains the original film quality of the episode. Remastered, the episode is much sharper and has brighter colors, but this version has that nice warm feeling, much more similar to what the show looked like when it originally aired.
Anyways, this scene is from the very beginning of the episode and shows how Susan Bradshaw (Susan Dey) gets into trouble while visiting Hawaii. The name of the actor she shares the scene with is Todd Armstrong.
Another clip of Susan Dey in Bed of Lies
Here is a clip of the "towel scene" from the 1992 TV movie Bed of Lies. This is just one great scene of many from this very campy movie-of-the-week starring Susan Dey and Chris Cooper. In this scene, Susan Dey wears nothing but a towel and attempts to give her new husband a nice surprise. This would please most men (and many women) but her hubby reacts negatively!
Clip of Susan Dey in Terror on the Beach
Here's a clip from the 1973 made-for-TV thriller Terror on the Beach. The project has the distinction of being the first of many TV movies Susan Dey would make throughout her career. In this clip, Susan Dey and her mother (played by Estelle Parsons) get harassed by two scruffy young men. And, in case you were wondering, Susan Dey appears in a two-piece swimsuit! Of course, you already watched this movie on YouTube or elsewhere, but I think this scene is worth seeing again!
Clip of Susan Dey in Bed of Lies
Here's a clip of Susan Dey in her 1992 TV movie Bed of Lies. The story involves the marriage of the son of a former governor of Texas (Chris Cooper) to a white trash woman (Susan Dey), who eventually is accused of murdering him. In this clip from early on in the movie, Susan Dey goes to see the sleazy Chris Cooper to get divorce advise. Later, she chats with her mother while she prepares to go out on a date with him.
Clip of Susan Dey on The Streets of San Francisco
Here's a clip of Susan Dey on The Streets of San Francisco. Let me preface this by saying that I am not an expert with audio/video editing. That being said, the source of this video is from a relatively high-quality German broadcast and the audio is from a low-quality English language source. Syncing audio and video is a sometimes tedious task, as some of you may know. I apologize that the audio in this video goes out of sync halfway through, but there is not much dialogue in the second half. Susan Dey's voice is fairly in-sync during the first part of the video. I think you can get the gist of what is going on in this video, despite the audio inconsistencies. I promise to try harder with any further clips :)
In this scene, violent radical (!) Susan Dey makes a desperate phone call to the hospital. However, the cops have traced the call and Michael Douglas arrives on the scene.
Clip of Susan Dey in Bridge of Time
Here's a clip of Susan Dey in Bridge of Time. The 1997 project was the seventh and final TV movie Susan Dey made during the 1990s. She would only go on to make one more made for television film, the L.A. Law reunion movie in the 2002. In this scene from Bridge of Time, Susan Dey has a chat with Cotter Smith before making an ill-fated flight.
Clip of Susan Dey in Beyond Betrayal
In the 1994 TV thriller Beyond Betrayal, Susan Dey is stalked by her obsessed ex-husband, Richard Dean Anderson. The scene in this clip depicts Susan Dey's character coming home to her boyfriend's houseboat only to discover that it has been ransacked by the evil Bradley (Richard Dean Anderson). She is even more shocked to find out what is behind a closed door!
Clip of Susan Dey in Love, Lies & Lullabies
Here's a clip of Susan Dey in her 1993 TV movie Love, Lies & Lullabies (also known as Sad Inheritance). In the movie, Susan Dey portrays a cocaine addicted woman who unexpectedly becomes pregnant. In this scene, she has a chat with her boss and reassures him that she will be able to keep her job and perform well (even though, unbeknownst to him, she has already decided to not fully quit doing drugs while pregnant!).
Third clip of Susan Dey on Matt Helm
In this clip from the Matt Helm episode 'Die Once, Die Twice', Ellen Tanner (Susan Dey) has a jailhouse chat with Claire Kronski (Laraine Stephens).
Another clip of Susan Dey on Matt Helm
In the first clip from Matt Helm, we saw the incident that gets Susan Dey's character into trouble. In this scene, we see her tell her side of the story.
