First, a very early clipping concerning the "17 year old actress"!

Her response probably wouldn't be the same today as it was in the early 1970s, but here Susan Dey answers a question about the importance of college:

Here is a great clipping in which actress Piper Laurie offers up some quotes about her friend and co-star Susan Dey:

In this newspaper clipping, Susan Dey is used as an example to illustrate a point about the familiarity of faces seen on television over the years:

I love this one. A paparazzi photographer reveals that his "finest moment" was getting sneaky snaps of Susan Dey's 1988 private wedding ceremony!

First we have a query which involves confusion surrounding the roles played by Susan Dey and one of her attractive contemporaries:

Now, someone gets Susan Dey confused with the similarly named Susan Bay!

Susan Dey having a baby was and always will be an interesting topic. People were even interested back in 1977 when the news was announced:

This person has something they want to know about Susan Dey, but apparently they are not a big fan. They rudely call the actress "small and whiney" and then ask if anyone else was considered for the lead role in the 1993 TV movie-of-the-week Who's Child Is This?:

And, of course, sometimes people had questions that bordered on the bizarre:

Susan Dey and Housing Now!

Back in 1989, Susan Dey was one of several celebrities supporting Housing Now!, an initiative for more affordable housing and aid for the homeless. The actress got quoted several times in connection with her participation with a quarter-million person protest march in Washington D.C.

Susan Dey was also quoted as telling the crowd: "I think I love you. You're beautiful."

Here's a photo of Susan Dey with some of her fellow celebrity fair-housing supporters:

Susan Dey's eating disorder

Once upon a time, Susan Dey had an eating disorder (you may have noticed that she seemed somewhat thin at certain times on The Partridge Family). The actress had the courage to admit her problems to the world and, over the years, her truthfulness has helped many people with their own personal issues.

Susan Dey goes to Europe

Here's a fun article published in early 1973 in which Susan Dey discusses her first visit to Europe. Readers can get the scoop on her travels through Spain, France, England and Scotland and find out about what she wore as well as what she ate! The young actress gives a bunch of great quotes and also reveals her favorite place: Scotland!

Tell me more about Susan Dey

In late 1977, someone wrote to their local newspaper wanting to know a little bit more about Susan Dey. I suppose any ardent Dey fan is probably already familiar with all the information given in the response, but there are still a few interesting tidbits contained within.

Susan Dey comments on Looker

Here is a brief newspaper clipping from late 1981 which features Susan Dey discussing her nude scene for the movie Looker. The clipping also mentions that the actress was receiving good reviews for her role in Looker, though the film itself was not a critical favorite.

Don't envy Susan Dey's skin (in 1973)

Here is an interesting newspaper clipping from April 1973 where Susan Dey talks about her skin and what she does to keep it soft and looking pretty.

Vanna White is a Susan Dey fan

Here's a newspaper clipping from 1987 where Vanna White reveals her Susan Dey fandom! She says that Susan Dey is her "role model" and that she "just wanted to be her!" The mention of Corbin Bernsen is in reference to the fact that around that time, Vanna White had been romantically linked in the press to Susan Dey's L.A. Law co-star (though Vanna denied everything). Anyways, it is always nice to see another Susan Dey fan!

Susan Dey talks Bed of Lies

Here's a great article about Susan Dey, written during the making of Bed of Lies. This piece was published about six months before the film debuted on television, before the title Bed of Lies was chosen. The previous title for the project was Deadly Blessing, also the title of the book on which the movie was based. This article also gives some great details about shooting Bed of Lies on-location in Texas, including how Susan Dey developed the accent she used in the movie with the help of a local woman who became her dialogue coach.

Susan Dey gets press for Loves Me, Loves Me Not

As you may know, Susan Dey attempted a return to series television in 1977, three years after her successful run on The Partridge Family came to an end. The show was a romantic comedy called Love Me, Loves Me Not and, unfortunately, it was cancelled following its scheduled Spring 1977 six week run.

The series did get some positive build-up in the press, though articles were careful to mention that the show was green-lit at the last minute and was made rather hastily.

Some critics didn't seem to enjoy to the show (even if, in this case, they didn't say specifically why they didn't like it):

Other critics seemed to have a good reaction to Loves Me, Loves Me Not, but still felt that the show probably would not be on TV for too long (despite Susan Dey's obvious charm):

Susan Dey won't go to bed feeling guilty

Here is a great newspaper profile of Susan Dey from November, 1987. Though the article is relatively short, it manages to cover a wide variety of subjects. Susan Dey's entire career, from her birth to L.A. Law, is covered. She also discusses her work habits. home life, her daughter, her early modeling career and also some of her charity work. Overall, a fairly informative and entertaining piece!

Susan Dey talks about "Lies and Lullabies"

Early 1993 saw the premiere of Susan Dey's most outrageous TV movie yet, Love, Lies & Lullabies (also known as simply Lies and Lullabies and also Sad Inheritance). The movie, about a cocaine-addicted woman who has a baby, garnered Susan Dey a bit of press at the time. She had recently left the hit series L.A. Law and was just about to announce her departure from her follow-up sitcom Love & War when the movie was originally broadcast. Accordingly, people were interested in hearing about whatever projects she was doing.
