I just realized that there wasn't a proper version of this Gift of Life promotional photograph of Susan Dey and Cassie Yates on-site (that I know of), so here it is!
Susan Dey gets interviewed
Over the course of her three decade career in show business, Susan Dey was interviewed many times. Some interviews have probably been long forgotten, though others still exist and can be seen today. Susan Dey interviews with obnoxious chat-show hosts David Letterman and Rosie O'Donnell (Dey was on Rosie's show twice) are two of the most popular examples.
In December of 1977, Susan Dey was interviewed by both Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin (presumably related to her breakthrough role in the movie First Love that year). In 1989, Dey appeared on CBS This Morning and in 1993 she did Good Morning America. 1991 saw the actress as a guest on The Arsenio Hall Show. Many more televised interviews likely exist and hopefully one day fans will have greater access to them!
Susan Dey in various Echo Park promo pics
In 1986, Susan Dey starred in the fantastic film Echo Park where she played a single mother who tries her hand at stripping to make some extra money. The movie helped to jump-start Susan Dey's career in the mid-'80s and features a great performance from the gorgeous actress.
Here are some assorted promotional images of Susan Dey for the movie (watch out for the last one...it may be inappropriate for younger viewers!):
2 Susan Dey and William Katt images
As many of you are doubtless aware, Susan Dey and William Katt were co-stars in the 1977 film First Love. Here are more two promotional pictures of the pair:
Susan Dey gets colorized
Here are some images of Susan Dey which have been colorized. Lots of these types of pictures of her used to appear in teen/fan magazines in the early 1970s.
A Susan Dey collage
This wasn't assembled by a professional but it is certainly a pleasure to see a collage of Susan Dey's youthful face!
Rare Susan Dey Looker promo pic
In 1981, Susan Dey made one of her best big screen appearances in the techno-paranoia thriller Looker. Here is a seldom seen (and somewhat odd) image used to promote the movie:
Revisiting Susan Dey on The Streets of San Francisco
A long time ago, we looked at Susan Dey's 1976 guest appearance on The Streets of San Francisco. Well, it's time to examine this piece of television history again!
Susan Dey was one of a huge group of actors and actresses who appeared on "The Thrill Killers," the two part 5th season of The Streets of San Francisco. However, Susan Dey's physical beauty and the fact that the formerly squeaky clean actress was playing a militant extremist, set her apart from the rest of the guest cast. This is also one of the few times in Susan Dey's career where she got to handle a gun!
Here are some updated images of Susan Dey on The Streets of San Francisco:
